Leaflet and talk with constituents of [R] Rep. Lawler in the purple district of NY17 about the very unpopular budget/reconciliation bill that would cut trillions from Medicaid, and much more so that billionaires cout get trillions in tax cuts. If Rep. Lawler gets lots of calls telling him to vote against this budget bill, it is possible to defeat it. The Republicans majority in the House is so small that the loss of Lawler's vote could kill it. We'll be taking the Metro North train from Grand Central to Mt. Kisco with leaflets, petitions and posters. There will be a zoom training and orientation on Thursday, April 17 from 6-6:30pm. If you are signed up you will get a link to this zoom call.
